In this session, you will learn 3 ideas you can immediately use to unleash compelling possibilities for the future while building your leadership skills. You will receive a daily action that you can complete in two to ten minutes each day to use these ideas to elevate your leadership skills. You will discover the benefits an uncommon disciplined practice can provide you and your company. We offer this session to you remotely using webinar technology. Leaders Ignite (Six Steps to Impassioned Leadership):
Level 3 by Design provides a series of six, brief, interactive training sessions to help you learn key ideas from a disciplined practice to significantly elevate your skills to empower people; unleash creativity, passion, and performance; and effect change. You will learn how to use an uncommon disciplined practice to create a competitive edge and a win for your company, people around you, and you. Through a daily call to action that can be completed in 2 to 10 minutes, you will use ideas learned from each session to empower someone around you while elevating your skill. These sessions are provided at 30-day intervals to provide you time to build your skills in between. They are provided on site for you and your leadership teams in two-hour sessions. One-hour, one-to-one training sessions that cover the same content are provided to you remotely using webinar technology.
Module #1: Unleash Hidden Potential in People: Learn ideas you can immediately use to elevate your skill to empower people around you. Experience being empowered and empowering someone. Learn a definition for empower to help you unleash hidden potential and elevate this learned skill. Learn how to develop your sensory acuity to early indicators that someone is empowered. Gain a basic understanding of constructivist thinking and its potency as a disciplined practice in empowering people.
Module #2: Bring the Best Out of People Around You (and You): Elevate your skills in giving and receiving feedback. Learn how to transform constructive feedback into an awesome gift. Learn a step by step process to give and receive feedback in a way that is empowering to both the giver and receiver. Deepen your understanding of constructivist thinking and its potency as a disciplined practice to significantly elevate your skills in giving and receiving feedback.
Module #3: Unleash Creativity, Passion, and Performance: Learn a definition for a vision to help you utilize a vision to unleash creativity, passion, and performance in yourself and people around you. Learn ideas and a process you can use to develop a personal work-related vision. Learn a step by step process to unleash the power (creativity, passion, and performance) inherent in a vision. Learn a vision for leadership that will help you unleash hidden potential in people. Deepen your understanding of constructivist thinking and its potency in unleashing the power inherent in a vision.
Module #4: Let Emotions Work for You, Not Against You: Learn how to assume responsibility for creating the emotions you experience. Learn a step by step process you can use when you experience a negative emotion to minimuze the possibility that an emotions clouds any critical decision you make as a leader. Learn how to use negative emotions as opportunities to build skills. Learn how to help people around you assume responsibility for their emotions. Deepen your understanding of this disciplined practice and its relevance to helping you create emotions that work for you.
Module #5: Unlock the Power of Language: Experience the potential benefits that can result from creating a personal definition for a specific word. Consider circumstances in which it might be useful for a leader to create a personal or shared definition for a given word. Learn when and why dictionaries are insufficient. Learn some specific words to be wary of using in your vocabulary or in the vocabulary of people around you and why. Learn the difference between descriptive language and prescriptive language. Examine when and why to use prescriptive language instead of descriptive language.
Module #6: Create Self-fulfilling Prophecies with Intention: Learn how to use assumptions as tools to elevate your skill to intentionally create self-fulfilling prophecies with a positive effect. Examine past experiences in working with others to consider the extent to which you may already have first-hand experience creating self-fulfilling prophecies. Learn when and how people unintentionally create self-fulfilling prophecies with a negative effect in order to avoid doing this in the future. Learn when and how to set aside knowledge and/or beliefs which hold people back from producing the results they really want for your organization. Learn how to help others follow your lead.
